Christina Castro is a mother of two young girls who recently moved from Manhattan to the suburbs. After leaving the corporate world as a Marketing Executive and Event Planner to raise her children, she decided to take on planning events again but this time for children hosting beautiful enchanted tea parties. She then started Tea Time and Tiaras in 2009.
About Tea Time and Tiaras
Tea Time and Tiaras is an event planning company creating elegant tea themed parties for children ages three and up on site or at ones home. These all inclusive parties encourage children to pretend play and let their imagination soar. Children get to play dress up and transform into a fairy, princess, rock star or a pampered glamour girl. Once a theme is selected, every detail is taken care of from the customized invitations, a rolling rack of elaborate costumes, an arts and crafts project, games, a fashion show, party favors, cupcakes, and a tea time at a table decorated with fine china, a royal centerpiece, and place cards.
Starting Feb 21st and every third Sunday of the month, Tea Time and Tiaras will also host a Mommy and Me Craft and Tea workshop where moms (or dads) can bond with their little one and enjoy a tea time. The workshop includes a dress up session where girls can choose from an array of colorful tutus, fairy wands, halos and wings. Guests will create an arts and crafts project, enjoy a story time and leave with a beautiful fairy keepsake.
Mommy and Me Craft and Tea takes place at Express Yourself Studio located at 1912 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ.
